Winter Ski Touring Trips

Selkirk Lodge offers premium backcountry ski touring trips in the world class terrain and snowpack of the Selkirk Mountains, near Revelstoke, BC. All of our trips are guided, catered and fully staffed. Guides are ACMG or IFMGA certified. Each week is staffed by a professional backcountry chef, maintenance person and housekeeper. Trips are either 4 or 7 nights in length. The maximum number of guests at Selkirk Lodge is 14. 

 

Many of our trips are run either as a full Group Booking or through Independent Guides who bring their own groups. Group bookings through Selkirk Lodge are guided by our “in-house” guides who are intimately familiar with the terrain and snowpack. There are a few trips a year where we can accommodate single space reservations.

 

Single Space Bookings: If you see a trip on our schedule that lists available spaces, contact us to reserve a spot.

Group Bookings: Group bookings are available to trip organizers who want to share the lodge with their own group (14 guests maximum), and enjoy our guiding, catering and staffing services. This is not a self-guided or self-catered week, rather it is a chance to share the lodge with 13 of your best friends. With this type of rental, a group organizer must take the lead on the trip and take responsibility for all communications and payments between Selkirk Lodge and your group. If you wish to make a group booking for less than 14 people, you may share the lodge with other guests.

Independent Guide Bookings: An Independent Guide Booking is available to full ACMG Ski or IFMGA Mountain Guides who wish to bring their own guests to Selkirk Lodge. These trips are staffed and catered by Selkirk Lodge, this includes a chef and all meals, a maintenance person and housekeeper. 

 

With this type of rental, the Independent Guide takes the lead on organizing the group, and is responsible for all communications and payments between Selkirk Lodge and their guests. Selkirk Lodge will provide you with the relevant information to pass on to your guests.
